Since our establishment in 2009, we have provided our expertise to create several unforgettable experiences for our clients. Below is a look into our work over 2018. 2018 Accomplishments:

For our 2019 couples who are starting to look for wedding ideas, look no further than our top luxury weddings from 2018. We started the year on a traditional note with Rija and Uzair’s Muslim ceremony. The theme of the Shaadi was Traditional Elegance with the couple opting for reds, golds and regal elements to create a royal effect.

Other notable luxury weddings from 2018 were Anu and Sameer whose beautiful ceremony took place at the historic King Edward hotel in downtown Toronto.

Aisha and Kashyap’s stunning Ritz Carlton wedding took our breath away! A July wedding, this one will surely give you all the feels.

Another big one from 2018 was Sameera and Amit’s lavish mansion-themed ceremony and reception with our classy complete package. With almost 18 months spent planning the wedding, this was bound to be one of our favourite weddings from this year. 

Mathematically speaking, 2018 proved to be one of our busiest years yet. I know we said so back in 2017 but that was then and this is now (Excuse our sassiness haha)! SAWC Planners oversaw the planning and execution of 70 events in total including pre-wedding events, ceremonies and receptions. Our vendors were carefully selected to meet individual clients’ needs and expectations and we will be giving you more information about our top vendors and wedding tips in the blogs to come. So stay tuned!

Other Notable Highlights Include:

• Our biggest highlight from this year includes the launch of Bling and Bells – A one-of-a-kind e-commerce platform where you can shop and rent items required for South Asian weddings and events. Launched earlier in 2018, Bling and Bells caters to a gap in the marketplace selling and renting backdrops, centrepieces, ceremony décor, stationery etc. and we have lots of exciting updates coming up!
• Concept Shoot, “Winter Wonderland” for Must Be Kismet, participated in a vendor capacity at the Wings Womens’ Gala and a Diwali end-of-season sale.
